So Sage is officially now a toddler. She got her first black eye today playing around. I think it is worse for Jeramy and I to look at than it hurts her, she just bumped it just right. She is into EVERYTHING. You can't turn your back on this kid for a minute. Plus I have been laid out for the last couple of weeks with serious tooth pain and now I think a dry socket. It feels like I have a golf ball in my throat. So dad let's her get away with more I am not going to like ths bumpy road ahead....

Mia, believe me you will survive! :) The first black eye is such a milestone! LOL I do believe it is harder on you than her! Take a deep breath and get ready for more! Love ya!

That will be the first of many black eyes! Just give her a bag of frozen peas and instead of her puting on her eye, she'll think the peas are cool to play with and completely forget about the eye!!

I have a picture of Danny and Katy when they were about 3 and 4 years old. They had both done face plants within a day or two of each other and have scrapes on the same parts of their faces. So funny now but not then. We went through alot of bumps, bruises, broken heads (Danny a couple of times,) broken noses (Dan and Em) scraped up lips from sliding down streets on the face during sledding with braces on the teeth, getting beat up by steers, motorcycles, basketball, football, feeling like your stomach is on the other side of your body during a horse show, need I go on!!! LOL. So life goes on and they are none the worse for wear.
Hope you have gone to the oral surgeon to find out if you have a dry socket Mia. They have magic medicine they can give you. Believe me I know. Love you and can't wait till the 4th of July.

LOL, Oh Mia, I love you girl. You are going to have such a hard time during the toddler years, I can see it already haha. She will survive, you will survive, and everything will be fine and dandy. You'll end up with a real tough kid on your hands I'm sure. And like my mom said, hope you get something for that dry socket, if that's what it is!! You need to go get it checked out. lookign forward to seeing you soon!
