Another Easy Dinner

So I thought of another family favorite recipie to share with you, although I am sure some of you already know it.

Fettucini Alfredo with Broccoli and Chicken
Brown boneless skinless chicken breasts into bite size pieces with lots of garlic
Pan fry stir fried broccoli or steam
Set aside
Add one of the big cans of cream of mushroom soup and a half a can of milk into a crock pot ( or regualar stove pot if you want)
Add a whole bag of the small itallian cheese you can buy at the store, it has all the itallian cheeses
Stir together
Add more milk if it is too thick
Put lots of crushed garlic and pepper to taste
Add your chicken and broccoli
Serve over your favorite noodles, we use farfalle

Curry Chicken
Brown bownless skinless chicken breasts into bite size pieces with lots of garlic
Pan fry stir fried broccoli and vegitables
Set aside
Use Golden Curry and use half of the small package (there are usually 2 packages in a pack so use 2 squares of the square of 4)
In the wok on heat stir curry until it starts to melt and add water until you get the consistancy that you want.
Add the chicken and stir fried vegitable and serve over steamed rice.
You can add any vegitables you want, water chesnuts, carrots, snow peas, onion, celary. We usually just use brocolli since it is our favorite.

Jermay is loving all of the new recipies, since I feel like I am constantly making the same thing. I've been looking everywhere for the pepper jack cheese soup that I used in my taco spaghetti but haven't been able to find it anywhere, so if anyone finds it somewhere, let me know so I can go buy a bunch!!

Good Easy Dinners Ideas Please

So while over in Prosser, Katy shared with me some really easy recipies and I have been making them all week. Mexican Tator Tot Casserole, Clam Chowder, Taco Soup. I am a big fan of the "cheater" meals where things are "semi-homemade" I love that new magazine. I like to be able to dump cans of whatever, so I thought I would share some of my easiest recipies in the hopes that anyone else that has an easy meal will share some too. I feel like I am constantly making the same things over and over, so I was excited to get Katy's recipies to mix it up a bit and it was a big hit. Here are my top picks.

Mia's Easy Enchiladas
Buy Beef and Bean Burritos (microwave for like 5 minutes in a glass pan to cook)
Smother refried beans over the top (jalepenos if you like it hot)
Pour red enchilada sauce over the top
Top with shredded colby cheese and black olives
Put in oven until cheese is melted

Mia's Pot Roast
Braise the pot roast with lots of garlic
In large crock pot put one of the big cans of cream of mushroom soup
Add half a can of water
Add a packet of onion soup mix
Cook on low for 8-10 hours
You could add potatoes, carrots, etc. But the soup makes a gravy when it is all done that is yummy.

Mia's Taco Spaghetti
Boil a package of spaghetti noodles
Brown ground beef
Add packet of taco seasoning and 1 cup of water
Add a small can of tomato sauce
Add a can of Rotel (diced tomatoes and chilli peppers)
Add a can of drained corn
Add a can of drained sliced black olives
Add a can of Campbells Southwestern Pepper Jack cheese soup
Add the spaghetti and the meat mixture in a casserole pan
Top with cheese (I use a mixture of colby and pepper jack cheese)
Put in oven at 350 until cheese is melted
You can top with shredded lettuce and tomatoes

Mia's Potato Soup
2 Jars of Safeway brand Potato Soup from the deli
1 can of diced potatoes
1 can cream of potato soup
1/2 cup of milk
cooked bacon cut into small pieces
colby jack cheese added at the end.
I cook on stove until it is heated up.

Father Daughter Dance

This last weekend we drove over to Prosser to go to the Father Daughter Dance with Mike, Danny, Chad and all of the girls! While Sage was probably a little bit to young this year, we all had fun hanging out together. Especially me with the mom's because I didn't have a baby that night. Jeramy is so great, he took care of a whiney baby at the dance and most of the weekend so I could spend time with my family. I had so much fun with everyone! I can't remember the last time that we ALL hung out. One of my favorite things about going over there is playing games wether it is monopoly or in this case Buzz, even though Danny won every time! Sage definately needs to be around kids here all of the time because anytime someone would scream or cry so would she...lol. But she did say "Cat" when the cat came into the room that surprised Jeramy and I both. I came home and made Katy's Tator Tot Casserol yesterday and made her clam chowder today and they are both yummy!

On the way there, of course we stopped at the feeding station to look at all of the elk. Sage, and of course Jeramy loved it!

New Pictures

She likes squishing her face into stuff lol

Here are some pictures of Sage. She is growing so much I can't believe it. She is a crack up. She is TOTALLY a grandma and grandpa's girl. When they are around, they don't want anything to with me lol. She has so much hair that when she eats we put a bandana on her head..lol. The cupcake picture was on her actual birthday, and she wanted NOTHING to do with the cupcake.

Here are also some pictures of Katy and Emily and I and our girls. It amazes me how Emily juggles the babies around. As small as they are, they are still twice as big as when Sage came home. It is funny because Eli who is 5 months weighs the same as Sage at 13 months. I've always said, Katy has some buff arms. There is also a picture of Alexandria and the Hunter Ann doll that we got her for Christmas. Jeramy and Andy went and made a tree stand out of a twig and some duct tape..lol..cracks me up...I can only imagine instead of barbies, Avery, Sage and Mallory and Layla will be playing with these hunter dolls in makeshift tree stands that their Daddy's made for them.

I have a bad addiction!

I think my mother and I have a horrible addiction. Clothes for Sage. I tried to take a picture of just one side of her closet, mind you the other side is just as packed. The big pile on the floor is of clothes that don't fit her anymore, and the boxes on top are the ones that I am saving for her and a huge box of shoes that are still too big for her. On the bottom of the closet there are bags of clothes that are still too big that there isn't room for in the closet. On the shelf are hats, socks, leggings, butt ruffles etc. The whole top row is jackets and vests. Plus she has 6 sets of draweres that are filled also. My mom and cousin Hettie went nuts and bought her like 15 new outfits the other day.

My newest addiction is shoes and hairbows. I can tie all of her hair into a high pony now so, following in the steps of my friend Sara who made her a ton of bows, I have been going crazy. You can see them hanging on the side of the closet. And of course shoes...this is just one of her drawers that is full of the shoes that fit her now. I just bought her like 5 new pairs of Robeez and See Kai Run shoes. Jeramy just comes in and shakes his head as fear flushes over his face at the thought of what the closet will look like in years to come. But he keeps saying, "at least I don't have it as bad as Chad with 3 girls." We will have to swap prom dresses with Chad's girls he says, and recycle wedding dresses.

I am willing to admit that I have a problem, there should seriously be a support group for people like me (and PS Halmoni I think you have a problem too). The sad thing is, I think I have a couple pairs of pants that fit me and 2 pairs of shoes...lol...at least my girl looks good!

My New Ride

Since Jeramy's car bit the dust, he got my old Jeep and Mommy and Sage got a new car! We got this 2005 Chevy Equinox SUV, it is all leather, sunroof, tow package, on-star etc, and it only had 40,000 miles on it, and we got it for a smoking deal. I love it!

Sorry I haven't posted Sage's birthday pictures yet, but now that I have a car I have been gone ALL the time after being cooped up in the house for a month while Jeramy had my car. I promise I will get them up soon! They are SUPER cute!

They are Here!!

My superstar cousin Emily had twin girls! Mallory LeeAnn was born at 4:56 pm on January 5th weighing in at 5#15 oz 19" long with little sister Layla Celeste born at 5:02 weighing in at 4#14 oz 17 3/4" long! Auntie Katy was sending me hour by hour updates since I couldn't be there which I was totally bumed out about. So I sent trivia questions to help pass the time. Emily and Chad now have 3 beautiful baby girls. That was my original guess, though I put (sorry chad on there). Jeramy said, "oh man I thought being out numbered 2 to 1 was bad, Chad has it 4 to 1. Now Jeramy and Chad will have to take the girls and teach them to hunt and fish! Sage is so excited about her new baby cousins. Her and Avery are 9 months apart and the twins and her are 13 months apart if I am thinking right. Hopefully they will grow up as close as me, Katy and Emily have!!
