So I realized I hadn't really done an update on what we have been doing lately, mostly because Sage is now walking and climbing and getting into everything, which doesn't leave me much time for a whole heck of a lot. She is probably 20 pounds now at 16 months and says so many words it is funny to hear her say "I didn't do it" and then expect me to wonder who did...lol..We are also trying to get her to eat adult food but she is SO picky, it seems all she wants are fries, hamburgers or pizza (wonder where she got that) But seriously she will only eat certain of the same food no fruits or vegis and I have tried it all over and over, she doesn't even like juice so if you have any suggestions. I can put all of her hair in a pony tail now as she has so much of it, but her dad still won't let me cut it and I agree, I don't think I want to deal with bangs, so we are letting her grow it out, for now she looks like she has the donald trump doo. She also FINALLY got a cousin on this side of the mountain when Andy and Carol welcomed baby Floyd Henry Holman into the world weighing 9 pounds 3 ounces and looking like his daddy. Since they live in the San Juan Islands, Carol was with Cait and when they got the call, Andy drove his own boat across to make it in time..lol..I only wish they lived closer. Well, when the sun decided to come out we headed out doors. We went to Prosser to visit and go to the father daughter dance and of course stop at the feeding station to see the elk. We took Sage to the zoo and North West Trek. Jeramy and his friend "Uncle Fro" bundled Sage up and put her in the pack and hiked up into the mountains looking for sheds, she loved it! For easter she got a little pink car that has a handle behind it so we've been going to the farmers market alot and getting our garden ready. Other than that we are just waiting for the sun to finally decide to stick around so we can start playing outside.

Things that Annoy me as a Mother
So before I had kids I didn't really realize how much certain things would bug me that didn't before. So for example, when teenage kids go into the handicap stall for no reason and I have to wait because I have my stroller with me. Or like the other day when we were at North West Trek I was changing Sage's poopy diaper when this woman was literally in my ear telling me to hurry the f--- up (and I was going really fast, Sage had 4 layers of clothes on and I was under a minute and a half) she kept getting in my ear and telling me to hurry hurry the f--- up, hurry hurry, I even offered to split the table with her. Finally I told her that unless she wanted Sage's poopy diaper smeared in her face she better back the f--- up. I mean seriously, who does that? When I got out of the restroom Jeramy could tell that something was wrong and was livid and wanted to go find the lady and fling poo...lol. Then yesterday when I was at the mall getting Sage in her car seat, getting the bags in the car, getting the stroller in the car, you know all the stuff you gotta do when you have kids, I had a guy waiting for my spot honking at me. I probably took no longer than 2 minutes to do all of these things. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS? grrr

Twilight the Movie
So I know the movie is never as good as the book, but I was slightly disappointed with the movie. Also, I don't see what the big hype on how cute Edward is...I think he is not appealing at all, and if he didn't have such good lines ("do you know how long I've waited for you", "You are my life now") I wouldn't be drawn to him at all. Don't get me wrong I have already watched it like 18 times, but I found myself explaing to Jeramy some of the stuff that they left unclear had you not read the book. Like for example why his eye color changes, that he can read everyone's mind except Bella's (though this is revealed later) That him and Carlile can communicate without talking (the scene where they are at the police station talking about the animal attacks). And it just seemed like it all of the sudden jumped to the chase with James. None of the other vampires really had much dialoge. I am trying to remember what Rosalie's power is (other than being a #$%!!). I am not really looking forward to the next movie because Edward is gone in so much of it. Plus I read that they are going to have Dakota Fanning play Jane in he upcoming movie....I think that is a horrible choice and not who I envisioned at all.
Well enough movie talk. Jeramy and I decided that it is now official...Sage is walking! At 14 months she toddles all over the place, but still crawls 80% of the time because she can get there faster. It looks funny because she is so small it doesn't seem like she should be able to walk. She is still sleeping in bed with us which is driving me nuts. She gets about 90 percent our king size bed, while Jeramy gets 8% and I am lucky if I get 2% of the bed, which could explain my sleepless nights. I know I know we need to get her out of or bed, but Jeramy isn't ready yet. Plus none of us sleep when we try and put her in her own bed. We took her to Skateland for Jeramy's good friends funeral and Jeramy pushed her around in her stroller and she loved it!!! You can't see it very well because it was on my cell phone, but it is the only video I have ever been able to post.

Korean Dress and Sage's Birthday
These are pictures from her 1st birthday that our photographer Steve took. I thought I already loaded some of them but was having some troubles, so here they are. She is wearing the same dress that I wore when I was my age. The other dresses are my cousin Hettie's and my mom's sister's. It was really neat for Sage to take part in her heritage. We also did all of the other customary 1st birthday things too. She picked the money (she will be rich) and the pens (she will be smart) Lucky us! Uncle Sagagee and Hettie were gracious enough to let us use their house and it was a huge hit. Thank you again to everyone who helped us celebrate our miracle baby. She is sure loved by so many people! And spoiled too. Now on to planning for her 2nd birthday bash! I think I might skip this December and throw a 1/2 birthday in July sometime so we can seperate Christmas and her birthday more, and we can do something outside and BBQ

Kate Plus 8

DADDY'S GIRL
So I have been an avid fan of this show until recently. I have been reading in several trustworthy tabloid magazines (lol) that they are talking about getting a divorce. Can you imagine the child support the man would have to pay...geesh. My issue with the show now is that it has strayed so far from the original version of their daily lives and how they managed. Now it is oh we are going to Hawaii, Utah, Colorado and buying a 1.3 million dollar house. I read her book and in it it did talk about all of the trials and tribulations in the biggining and how Jon kept losing jobs etc. But now I think they are profitting too much off their kids. I mean poor Collin when he is in highschool and his friends will see re-runs of the show of him sitting on the toilet. Then you have people like the Octo-Mom who I am sure loves her kids, but is already getting money deals and she would have to to support all of those children. It just seems like today's society is feeding into this massive family facination, where these poor kids are just victims who will eventually hate all of the crap that was aired on national television. But what are you going to do, the media is doing exactly what is expected...buying into it to sell magazines...you just have to kind of feel sorry for the poor kids in all of this drama. And by the way I don't blame Jon for wanting to leave Kate although she has gotten much better, but I think he loves his kids too much and he is such an awesome Daddy. We'll see
On the only child front, Sage weighed in at 18 pounds 8 ounces, I think she is coming up fast behind Eli.
