Recipies

Here are more recipies, sorry it took me so long to post them, as I am finding out it is kind of hard to do anything with a toddler running around. I have a bunch more that I will post soon, just click on the recipies tab on the left and it will pull up every recipie that I have posted. Keep the recipies coming!! Jeramy is loving all of the new meals I have been making!!

Katy's Clam Chowder
3 Cans of Snows ready to eat clam chowder
3 Cans of diced potatoes
2 Cans of Snows chopped clams
1 Can of Corn
1 Qt of Whipping Cream
Cooked Bacon
Optional: 1 cup of shredded cheese
if the soup is too soupy I add powdered potatoes
Either cook in crockpot or on stove until hot

Korina's Pork Chops
Get boneless pork chops (or chicken works too)
Dip them in egg
Spray the clear pan with Pam
Season to your liking
Sprinkle crushed up cornflakes and Johnny's seasoning over it
Put in oven at 350 for 1 hour

Heidi Andrew's Taco Chili
1 pound of hamburger
1 pkg. of taco seasoning
1 can dark kidney bean; drained
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans diced tomatoesonion; choppedgarlic to tastered and green peppers; chopped but optional (any amt you choose to your liking)
DIRECTIONS:1. Brown hamburger, onions,garlic and peppers.
2. Add rest of ingredients
3. simmer for about 1 1/2 Breakfast CasserolePut in pan (9x13) in the following order:8 slices bread (without crusts) cubed12 oz. mild shredded cheddar cheese1 lb. cooked sausage or ham (I prefer ham,but depends on your ownlikes)Mix and Pour over above:2 1/2 cups milk4 eggs3/4 tsp. prepared mustard1 tsp saltRefrigerate overnight (can do early morn and make at nite too)The next am:Mix enough milk into can of cream of mushroom soup until smooth.Pour over casserole and cook at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until done.

Heidi Andrew's Potato Casserole
1 (2 lb) bag hashed brown potatoes
2 cans cream of potato soup (i sometimes use cream of celery too)
1 (8 oz) container sour cream
1 (8 oz) pkg. grated sharp cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic
combine potatoes, soup, sour cream, cheese and garlic salt. Pour into greased casserole dish. Dot with margerine. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, if desired. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.

Heidi Andrew's Baked spaghetti
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 T butter1 (28 oz) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (4oz) can sliced mushrooms (if you like them)
1 (2 1/4 oz) can sliced ripe olives
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 (16 oz) jar Prego spaghetti sauce
16 oz spaghetti, cooked
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add next 6 ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Place half of spaghetti in greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Top with half sauce mix and half cheese. Repeat layers. Mix soup and water. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.

Heidi Andrew's Chili Cheese Dog Pot Pie
2 cups biscuit baking mix
2/3 cup water
3 cups chili with beans
1/2 pound hot dogs, sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350.
In a medium bowl, mix together the baking mix and water to form a smooth dough. Set side.Spread half of the chili into the 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Make a layer of the hot dogs over the chili. Cover the hot dog layer with cheese, then top with the rest of the chili. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the biscuit dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Lay the dough over the contents of the dish, and poke a few slits to vent steam.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top crust is golden.

Heidi Andrew's Double Orange Cookies
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 can (6 oz) orange juice concentrate, thawed, divided
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbls grated orange peel(frosting)
1 pkg. (3oz) cream cheese, softened
1 Tbls butter, softened
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 Tbls grated orange peel
1 Tbls reserved orange juice concentrate
2 Tbls milk
Directions:in large mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add sour cream and eggs. Beat until well blended. Reserve 1 Tbls. orange juice concentrate for frosting.Add the remaining concentrate with combined dry ingredients to the creamed mixture; mix well.Stir in orange peel. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until edges just begin to brown.Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool on wire rack before frostingFor frosting, combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Spread a small amount over each cookie.

Heidi Center-Howden's Spaghetti Pie
1 jar spag. sauce
1 pkg. spag. noodles
1 egg
parmesean cheese
cottage cheese
shredded cheese

Boil the noodles, drain and set aside. Make your sauce, set aside. Mix the noodles with one egg and some parmesean cheese. Press noodles into bottom of baking dish nice and tight. Top noodles with a layer of cottage cheese, top cottage cheese with spag. sauce, top that with shredded cheese.

Angie's Pasta Bake
3 chicken breasts cooked and diced (I usually just boil them)
1 jar of Spaghetti sauce
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1 box of Penne, Rigatoni, Mostaccioli or any large shell noodles cooked (My favorite is Rigatoni)Shredded Mozzarella cheese (approx. 2 cups, enough to cover top of casserole)
Mix Chicken, sauces and noodles together and put in a 9x13 casserole dish. Put cheese on top. Bake at 350 for about 30 - 45 minutes.
