I mean what the hell?? Inters performing surgeries on themselves, ah SERIOUSLY?...Meredith's friend intern is annoying and crazy, and I hope she leaves the show. That story line was almost as stupid as Izzy performing surgery on the deer or the latest having sex with a dead guy. I want her and Alex to be together because finally for once he isn't acting like a pig, but you can't help but feel sorry for neckless Denny. And they have totally 180'd Sloan, now he is the nice doctor who lets little girls fall asleep on his shoulder and encourages other people to do the right thing. I really like Hunt and hope that the story with him and Christina evolves to better lines than "I think you are pretty"


But the biggest hypocracy of all is Hahn getting booted off the show. Even though I was totally uninterested in that story line (and secretly loving the fact that Cali keeps getting shit on because I never really liked her anyways....oh and speaking of shit on, what was up with the guy having to give his shit up his wife's nose...I got c-def after a surgery and there is no way in hell I would shove Jeramy's shit up my nose..lol) but kicking Burke off the show because he made a gay reference to George and then they kicked off the lesbian. Although Burke and George were real life drama, since when is Grey's worried about writing about what goes on in the real world. I mean seriously, you are starting to lose me again.

Family Fun and Greys

Last weekend we went to Lattin's Cider Mill right by our house for some cider and doughnuts and to feed the animals. Sage was all bundled up in her elk/reindeer outfit (depending on who you ask) We even ran into our friends Sara, Chris and Mady as we were leaving I guess great Mom's think alike.

Then yesterday while shopping at Costco, Jeramy decided that Sage needed a bear skin rug for her room (even though it is Hawaiian theme) of course when she saw it she loved it and of course she gets whatever she wants. Lucky for me it was only $15.00 and she loves it.

The other pictures are of her new favorite thing, crawling up the gate. It cracks me up because she looks like she is in jail. Also, her crabby hat, she has to wear this when she gets crabby and it always brings a smile to both of our faces.

And finally, Grey's. Ding Dong the witch is dead. Heidi told me that Hahn was leaving the show, but I didn't believe it until I saw it, but what is with Rainman doctor they brought in her place, hopefully she leaves for good. And who the hell was the chick that scalped her back, hopefully she will leave too. The whole Denny thing is weird and of course it is going to mess up Alex and Izzy getting together. OK finally, the nameless interns who are practicing on themselves and doing surgery in the basement on the preview...SERIOUSLY?? what the hell. STUPID!!

The Election and Grey's

So I typically try and keep my political voice to myself, and I don't ever think anyone is wrong in believing in the other party or that my views are right and the only answer, because I feel everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but this election has filled me with hope and pride. Listening to Obama's speach made me feel at peace to knownthat my daughter will see that a minority can become leader of the freeworld despite serious opposition, the value of voting, and how country over party is very important, and that in the face of the worst ecomomy in decades, an endless and needless war, people wanting for change can achieve it. I even bought her the USA Today paper the day after for her hope chest. When watching McCain's concession speach you hear many of his followers boo the new president elect..while watching several political shows afterwards they went back on the last few democratic concession speaches and not one boo'ed the president elect, that says something to me about that party. Even if you did not vote for Obama, at least have enough respect for your country that you will at least give him a chance. Obama's speach brought me to tears because for once I was hopefull...he didn't claim to be able to fix all of the problems right out of the gate, and he addressed all of the people that didn't vote for him and said he would listen and do his best. No false promises, but just the hope for change. Also, when reading my Parenting magazine they interviewed both families only the John McCain didn't show up for the interview so it was just Cindy, and in it when asked about family traditions stated that their family has never spent the holidays in the states because they are on vacation in luxiourious abroad countries. Add to that the fact that Cindy McCain wore a $300,000 oufit and Palin a $150,000 outfit to Michelle Obama's Target outfit and it just screams to me that the McCain campaign doesn't really understand what it is like to be an "average American." They have never had to work for anything or want for nothing. I don't care who you are or what party you are with there are certain aspects of the state of the country, that let's face it are ready for change, and I am confident that change is exactly what we needed. (Also a VP who at least knows that Africa is a continent, as Palin has recently been quoted as saying she did not)

Now on to more important things...Grey's. The new guy really opened my eyes to something I never really noticed before, how the doctors fight over patients surgeries like they are just some science experiment and not real people, so I was glad that he called them out on it! I hope he stays around, and we can give Hahn the boot. She has such an arrogance about her that drives me nuts, and now trying to bully the chief on the Denny issue. Speaking of Denny has anyone else noticed that he doesn't have a neck? It is like his head is attached to his shoulders. I really hope that Alex and Izzy stay together. But probably my biggest irritation right now with the show are the nameless interns, that seem to be only the ones that Christina numbered. Where are the other people's interns, and will they ever serve any purpose on the show?

Grey's and Sage's Halloween Costume

So I missed last weeks Grey's because our DVR didn't get it and I can't stay up that late anymore. But here is what am thinking after watching tonight. I am SO over and somewhat disgusted by the Hahn Cali thing (not because I am anti-gay, because I am not in anyway) but Hahn just seems old and Cali so butch, so to me it is like Barbara Walters and Rosie O'donnel going at it. And what is up with Sloan as the new resident shrink...I must admit however that I am liking him more this season. Poor George ( I seem to say that alot) although the interns do not have names just numbers in some cases, I would like to see George and the sister together, but her being his intern would be too much, she is sort of becoming stalker ish. Meridth and Derek are moving along quite nicely but I keep waiting for the shoe (or kidney) to drop. And I have always wanted Izzy and Alex together ever since he carried her out of Denny's room after he died...but I have been reading that Denny is going to come back as a ghost or something...and that they might kill of Izzy with a brain tumor (which they are denying), but I do like the 2 of them together. I am also excited about the new Army guy for Christina...that should be interesting. So aside from the weird poor water episode and the one I missed, I am still hooked!

Here is Sage in her corn on the cob outfit (she will probably hate me some day for making her wear that) you can see in her face in the second picture that she is saying "Ya Mom I am so going to get even with you", and her new hat that her Grandma bought her. Jeramy took her over there for breakfast so I could sleep. I had the plague...brohchitis, a kidney infection, kidney stone, and the cold that was going around and an ear infection...but glad to say I am feeling bit better, and Sage is on her second round of amoxicillian for her sinus infection and seems to be doing much better!

I have been a bad blogger lately, but I have a reason...my poor baby has her first sinus and ear infection and is on the pink bubble gum medicine, and my husband has been working 12-24 hour days 7 days a week and is now gone for the next 2 working out of town and just 3 weeks ago was gone for a week hunting so I have barely seen him or had any time to myself. I've been staying at my parents house every once in a while so I get a little break...I keep saying I am starting to feel like what a military wife feels like...but hey I can't complain because Jr is making some serious money! Even though he is gone for my birthday during hunting season and our wedding anniversary is tomorrow. Such is life!

So Grey's...I had to watch it on the internet so I didn't get the full effect...but I said at the last of last season..."watch Derrick get hit by a bus or something" and that is how it started and then Just Kidding...STUPID... Rose saying she was pregnant and then Just Kidding and stabbing him with a scalpal STUPID. I am glad that the cheif finally put Hahn in her place but that whole Callie story line is just laim! And what is with McSteamy being like Dr Phil now of the group...like he should be giving advice...maybe he will end up with the sister, and George will get jealous. I did like the Army doctor and would like to see him on the show, but how could he just leave the army. I am really getting sick of the nameless interns however. And by the way, I thought the chief was suppose to cut back on work and go back to his wife.

Grey's

So first off, Sage is feeling a little better, thank you everyone for your comments. We slept in the rocking chair in her room all night, so Mom is a little cranky and exhausted. Jeramy will probably kill me for posting this picture, but I could not resist. This was about 2am and the only thing that would keep her from screaming was if we were rocking her in the rocking chair I slept in, playing Hawaiian music and making her bamboo windchime above the chair go. It was so cute and her first cold, I figured I should document it.

Well so I refreshed myself for the new Grey's next week...while I was watching they did a glimps of the new season and did anyone else hear Rose say she was carrying Derrick's baby? WHAT THE HELL...figures, I thought something like that might happen or he'd get hit by a bus going to tell Rose it was off....and then you see Meredith looking through the glass screaming NO. I know how previews are so I guess I am just assuming Rose is talking to Derrick but that is really going to suck!!! In all the weekly gossip magazines the writers have said that Meredth and Derrick will be together for good because they probably sensed that we were getting sick of the flip flopping. I am really uninterested in the lesbian relationship with Hahn and Callie as I really don't like them, so that leaves Dreamy and Christina without real storry lines (Meridith's sister too)...George is going to retatke the test, and I see him and the sister get together, does anyone think Dreamy and Christina will end up together, because after all this is Grey's anatomy so someone has to be sleeping with someone inside the hospital. When I was on bedrest at UW, I always joked that it was like Grey's Anatomy because it is a teaching hospital, so I would have like 8 doctors come in stick their head between my legs as I watched TV, and go over stuff, and they were fellows,chiefs, residents, attendants, interns etc. So when I would meet someone I was like, Oh so you are like Bailey...Well they better not disappoint us, because boy do they owe us for a crappy season last year!!!

Seriously!!

I finally dismantled the diaper cake today, and I took pictures so that I can try and figure out how to do it. Here are some pictures, I couldn't believe how many diapers there were! I have a whole storage tote full of Pampers! The diapers were like a cinnamon roll, with the inner circle held together with rubber bands and then the whole thing held together with inter twined zip ties, and then each level was covered with a baby blanket pinned on. There were rolled together outfits held together by rubber bands on the base and pinned on (as were the bunny animals). The top layer, the blanket was upside down so that the end pieces of the blanket was rubber banded together and stuck up to help hold the bunny cake topper and give it more depth. The base was covered with another blanket and was a heavy piece of a cardboard like piece made of plastic that was very sturdy. Andrea and I are going to try and make one tomorrow.

GREY'S

I should be a writer for Greys. Did I call it or what...Meredith and Derek back together, Cali is a lesbian, Izzy and Alex together and Jane Doe finally committed, George gets to be a resident maybe and might have a love story with Meredith's sister (what is her name), Chief back to his wife, and I bet Bailey becomes chief. I knew Christina wouldn't be gay but I LOVE the fact that the chief finally stood up for her and made Hahn look like an ass! But SERIOUSLY they only gave us 3 episodes...if Meredith and Derek break up next season I am so DONE watching the show.

Grey's

How Jeramy and Sage (and Lami) beat the heat today. BTW to answer some questions on the diaper cake, I got it at 4:30 am because that is what time Jeramy and Dub leave for work in the morning together and I was up with Sage, so it was an early morning surprise!

I am SO sick of all this wishy washy crap on Grey's. Meredith wants counciling then she doesn't, Meredith is nice to her sister and then a total jerk, not to mention all the back and forth with Derek. Derek wants Meredith then Rose. McSteamy is McSleazy, then not, then back again. Calie and Hahn are lesbians they aren't (I think Calie is finally realizing that she is). Jane Doe is pregnant, then she isn't and Alex is a jerk, not, jerk and now not again. The Chief is wishy washy on Adelle. And don't even get me started on Christina....last week I felt sorry for her, but now she is just being an idiot. Does anyone else miss Addison?

Here is what I think should happen:

1. Finally end this with Meredith and Derek and let them marry each other or have her get pregnant...anything to end the torture of the love hate

2. Christina should start a love affair with Hahn (because I hate Callie) and then they would be brilliant heart surgeons and Christina could add another cardio genius to her belt.

3. Izzy and Alex should be together, and Jane Doe should face that her story line is over

4. George should become a resident and not an intern anymore (I love him) and then get together with Meredith's Sister (she is so sweet).

5. Addison should come back and get together with McSteamy

6. The Chief should get back together with his wife and let Bailey be Chief, but he would stay on as a fellow or something so he is still on the show.

I agree with everyone else that I am this close to not watching anymore. I can't believe that next week is the season finalle. Thanks alot for the 3 whole episodes! Can anyone else wait for the Sex and the City movie?

Grey's Anatomy

Instead of my American Idol posts I am going to do my Grey's rantings because this has always been my show...are there any other Grey's fans out there, and if so are you sick of this whole Meredith Derick thing? Do I want the two of them together? One way or another just pick one for crap's sake. I keep reading in my gossip magazines that they will finally end up together (well I certainly hope so since he added Rose to his "List" and was thinking of Meredith.) Yes she is a coward. Tonight's episode made me think...who would have the longest "list" and I am thinking that it is George (Izzy, Callie, Meredith)...I love George by the way, and Bailey. The whole Callie and Hahn thing is pretty laim as is McSteamy's latest issues. I wish Jane Doe would just disappear out of the story line already. I totally felt sorry for Christina. At least this episode was better than the one where Izzy gave CPR to a deer.

And my final frustration of the night...

WHY DO THEY PUT COLLARS ON BABY CLOTHES? I mean SERIOUSLY, it just gets in the way and is always up in her face, what idiot thought that babies needed collars on their clothes?
